Executive Chairman of Jos East Local Government Council, Chief Markus Usaini Nyam has assured that the new administration under his watch will operate an open door policy.
The Chairman who was speaking during the Swearing in of the newly appointed Secretary to the Council, Mrs Joyce Samuel Nyam at the Councils Chamber, Angware, recently, extolled her virtuous as hardworking, loyal and dedicated to obligatory task haven worked closely with her.
Markus Nyam announced with delight that the present administration is a women friendly Government hence a woman is appointed as chief scribe and unveiled that subsequently, more women will enjoy appointments into key positions to give them a sense of belonging.
He further said, the executive together with the legislators, are poised to welcome constructive criticisms towards a new approach to policy framework to enable the area achieve greater heights.
While commending the effort of his campaign organization for delivering his team, Councillors and his party, the PDP, thanked the Director, Personnel Management, Zion Ayuba Chirtau, other Directors and Staff of the Council for their doggedness and resilience.
Responding, Secretary to the council, Joyce Samuel Nyam whose Oath of Office and allegiance was administered by Barrister David Ali of the Magistrate Court, Angware, while appreciating the Chairman for reposing confidence in her, thanked her husband, for standing by her including the electorates for voting the present administration in to power and sued for prayer to enable her justify the cause of her appointment
Goodwill massages came from the PDP Chairman, Dembo Azi, PDP Women leader, Esther Abok Emmanuel, Monday Nyam Ajiya and husband to the Secretary, Samuel Nyam among others where they congratulated the Secretary over her appointment and pledged to support the new administration to succeed.
