I JOINED OTHERS IN SEEKING CLARIFICATION OF THE IDENTITY OF THOSE FARMERS CARRYING AK47. . ARE THEY FROM PLATEAU, OR FROM WHICH STATE?

 Hmmmmm!

We are living in interesting times with many revelations. The other day the security invited Dr Mailafia for interrogation to clarify his interview on the identity of his informants on those causing insecurity in Nigeria.

Sheikh Gumi went to the forests and bush to meet bandits and kidnappers who bore arms and no one has invited him as if the security are not interested in knowing the identity of the bandits .

The other day Garba Shehu declared that farmers should seek permission before going to their farms .

The Gov of Bauchi has defended arms bearing by herdsmen .

Our Defence minister has declared those without means of defending themselves as cowards and urged citizens to defend themselves .

Now our Gov is reported as saying farmers also bear AK 47 Guns.

I join others in seeking clarification of the identity of those farmers. Are they from Plateau , or from which state?

We know AK47 are expensive

and majority of Plateau farmers struggle to purchase fertilizer.

So is it the farmers that can barely afford fertilizer that can purchase those expensive weapons ? Or is it that our Gov who also doubles as the Chairman of northern Governors was referring to farmers from other parts of the north ? We need more details or clarification please.

  8. Am with your steps Sir, let him show us the farmers that are carrying AK47 along themselves. A worse Governor ever in the state of Plateau. By the way his a disgrace to Plateau people's.

  9. Absolutely sir.
If the farmers are carrying AK47 as stated by the plateau state governor, the killings by the terrorist called herdsmen would have ended a long time ago. What I said sometimes ago in my write-ups in the Daily Post, that Mr Lalong is the willing tool in the middle belt to be used in dipping the Quran in the sea is manifesting.

  10. What do you expect from an illiterate governor who is interested in his personal interest.

  11. You hit the nail on the head sir..we need to know the reason in which the herdsmen are free to carry Ak47 and also need to know their origin an who has equipped them with such a dangerous weapon and real agenda behind it.

  12. I have thought about this, and I truly wonder if this “freedom of speech” entails talking nonsense. Do some of our leaders honestly have the interest of their citizens at heart? Do they understand the gravity and implication of these kind of “comments” they seem to carelessly pass? As if their irresponsibility to curb the basic problems of the people (insecurity) is not enough, they add insult to injury.
