Chief Whip of the Plateau State House of Assembly and Member representing Jos South Constituency, Hon. Dalyop Isaac Gyang was in attendance at the 2025 cultural day celebration of the National Union of Berom Students in Plateau State Polytechnic.

He attended the event which held at the Main campus of the institution in Heipang alongside other invited guests. He applauded the students for the laudable initiative which not only showcases and promotes the rich Berom cultural heritage but also ensures its sustenance.

In a swift turn of events, the students were stunned when the Honourable Member donated the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira (NGN100,000), to support the activities of the union and also donated the sum of Four Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (NGN450,000) to be shared among all the forty five final year students who were in attendance at the programme to support them in completing their research project. This act led to wild jubilation as the atmosphere became surcharged with joy from students couldn't hide their happiness as a result of the legislator's gesture towards them.

This act underscores his commitment in supporting the academic pursuit of his constituents, which he says is pivotal and central for anyone who wants to make any meaningful change in today's society. The Member who prioritizes education has doled out similar supports in the past to many indigent students from his constituency across the various levels of learning.
